Al-Burhan Affirms Neutrality of the Army

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and the Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Army, 1st Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, confirmed that the (army) does not have a party, while there are groups trying to attract and polarize the army into political action.
He added that the army is not an enemy to any group or political alliance, and all are equal to us, and we want to support Sudan, and anyone who seeks the interest of the country, we are with him.
Al-Burhan said during a speech to a public ceremony in the Al-Kitayab area in the state of the River Nile – that Sudan is threatened with many dangers, and we are all looking for a way out, while the armed forces accepted the framework agreement in order to raise issues that work to solve crises, weather security reforms or transitional justice.
Al-Burhan stressed that they want politicians to stay away from the (army) as the citizen desires security and stability of Sudan and seeks to ensure that Sudan avoids crises
He said certainly our sole enemy is he who targets Sudan and the people of Sudan and we will not engage into battles against political organizations or alliances.

He called for overcoming differences and paying attention to agricultural resources, amid scarcity of funding
