A family Honours a Physician in his Clinic

In 2012, a report about AlDamar Hospital indicated that health facility suffered from poor sanitation, shortage of equipment and lack of housing for deputies. But now, everything has changed as the hospital has a different tale to tell, a tale that testifies to its success, excellence and distinction among the nation-wide health institutions.
When Mr. Eisam AlMagaly went into the process of leaving from his respective clinic
to his house, members of a distinguished family known as “Abu Neisaira clan ”
intercepted him. They wanted to organize an honoring celebration for him.
One of attendees introduced Dr. AlMagly as an internist and the youngest brother of former ambassador Sadig AlMagaly, now a retired diplomat from the Sudan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs . Dr. AlMagaly, the Internal Medicine Specialist was glad to welcome in his Clinic the representatives of visiting family. Thanks to him, their son has made a complete recovery in an efficient hospital at AlDamar, a city in the River Nile state in the north of Sudan. One day, that worried and sad family didnot realize that things would be different, very different from what they had anticipated or used to. After the end of convalescence period, on behalf of their recuperated son Mustafa, the family returned to the hospital to say this is not a goodbye, this is a thank-you to his therapist and his acolytes prompted by the saying of the play-wright George Bernard Shaw ” If you are incapable of gratitude , you are incapable of noble sentiments”. So the entire family gave a standing ovation to the pre-eminent medical doctor Mr. Eisam AlMagaly at AlDamar ..
The Voice of AlDamar described what happened there inside a bustling Medical Complex as a rare precedent noting that among the motives of the family surprise visit was to pay tribute to Dr. AlMagali outstanding medical performance.. Their son identified as Mustapha remained for a while under the care and observation of Dr. AlMagali along with his crew of medical assistants. His father told the press corps that his son debilitating condition was reported as incurable in several sessions of receiving remedies by the best providers of healthcare service in Khartoum and Cairo. . The city of AlDamar via its main hospital has been the last resort to Mustafa’s family that retrieved their lost smiles and the hope of healing of their son after a long struggle with an illness that could have almost claimed his life without the providence care and the successful medical intervention of Dr. AlMagali and his supervisory team within AlDamar Hospital. The members of family paid homage to all the medical personnel there .
Dr. AlMagali could not hold back his tears, applauded the move and explained that such a positive attitude is rare adding that a gesture of an appreciation like this is seldom received in these days. He also added “It would be remiss if Didn’t help Mustafa On the basis of reports referring to the futility of dealing with his chronic case. On his part, the family spokesperson expressed his thanks first to the Almighty God and then to Dr. AlMagali saying that he and his aides exerted a great effort that contributed to Mustafa”s recovery. In this context, he commended their professional dedication and humane devotion wishing that everyone who takes the Hippocratic oath or neglects serving patients to emulate them . He concluded” We will always remember how this doctor assured us that our son then writhing In pain would be well from the first assessment and screening. We spent weeks filled with an insomnia and exhaustion, but in his humble clinic we got reprieve from the court of pains until another further notice of suffering.
In a visit to the family house, Mustafa looked relieved , brought us glasses of fruit-juice ,and talked about how much his family was loving and caring . His parents as plenty of devout Muslims regarded the prolonged ordeal of their son as a test of faith and an atonement for sins. Mustafa is a replica of his father in a mutual resemblance. When I asked him about his future dream, ” I want to be an aviation engineer” Mustafa replied with a smile radiant with confidence . He waved a goodbye to us in a healthy ambience free from the stench rising from anti-biotic and disinfected rooms.
As for the prospect of domestic curative treatment , it should not be detracted or ignored because AlDamar Hospital has shown us an example of complacency with quality of health care and how the medical national expertise can be reliable and more effective. than expatriate consultant service. Congratulations on this medical breakthrough that changed the life of in-patient at AlDamar Hospital whose staff vigilance and competence has led to taking on this task that boosts the trust in the health system to deliver the right diagnoses and medication as well. AlDamar Hospital is not a comedy of errors and never condones a dereliction of duty. Therefore, It is all our hope that the Federal ministry of health or any other concerned authorities will also honour Dr. Eisam AlMagaly , AlDamar Hospital at the level of paramedics and administration because this event has attested to their tangible success Actually, honouring doctors is a lovely initiative that comes after years that had seen aggressions against them.
