University of West Bobemia in Pilsen Delegation Visits The Citizen

A delegation from Czech Republic representing West Bohemia in Pilsen University led by Mgr. Veronika Sobotkova, Ph.D was in an official visit to Sudan, particularly Al-Neelain University. The visit aimed at boosting the academic mutual relations between the two universities. The visit was crowned by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which allows Sudanese senior Academic staff members and students in to be hosted in Czech Republic for training courses.
The Citizen was honored by a visit of the delegation last Tuesday. The delegation included Mgr. Veronika Sobotkova, Ph.D., her aide and Dr. Peter Pelikan.
The delegation was received by the General Manager, Al-Rasheed Mutasim, Editor-in-Chief, Muawad Rashid, Senior Reporter Ali Nour Addeen, Executive Secretary, Ala Babikir and reporter Idress Osman.
Al Rasheed welcomed them affirming that Sudan is in dire need to such kind of bilateral educational relation with whole the world, but especially with European countries. He added that Sudan has strong and historical relation with Czech Republic, citing the considerable technical support provided by the Czech to water plants, power stations, tractors, besides providing GIAD Motors with the technical expertise in establishing Cables and Saria factories.
It is worth noting that the delegation is supposed to have left Sudan Tuesday evening, but their relations with the Citizen as the paper vowed to publish any developments in the implementation of the MoU and other related issues for the benefit of the two countries.
