UN Expert on Human Rights Arrives in Khartoum

The expert on the human rights situation in Sudan, Radhouane Nouicer, arrived Sunday, on a several-day visit to Sudan and was received at Khartoum Airport by the chairman of the Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law Department, the rapporteur of the National Human Rights Mechanism, Maulana Juma’a Al-Wakeel and the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the visit, the expert will hold a number of meetings with senior state officials, during which he will discuss a number of issues, he will also pay a visit to Darfur region.
