The Flavor of the Egyptian Role in Reconciling the Sudanese Rivals

The historical and the emotional interaction in the Nile Valley plays a crucial role in the cohesion of the eternal relationship between Egypt and Sudan.
Sudan through the solid constants cannot ignore the Egyptian role in its attempts to resolve the miserable political conditions in Sudan.
It goes without saying that any political development in Sudan has its reflection in Egypt. This means that Egypt will not stay hand-folded without involvement in political, diplomatic and the negotiations.
Therefore, in this crucial stage of the Sudanese political crisis, sent its Director of Intelligence General Abbas Kamil, accompanied by a professional de legation to urge for a pure Sudanese dialogue to overcome and remove all the obstacles.
The Egyptian envoy managed to narrow the gaps and achieved a breakthrough especially in regard to engaging the Darfur factions in the ongoing political process towards accepting the Framework Agreement.
Kamil also moved to contain the difference amid Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) to enable its leadership enter into the political process with a unified vision.
Within the same context, Kamil haned the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, 1st Lt. Gen. Abdul Fatttah Al-Burhan a verbal message from his Egyptian counterpart, Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi.
It is apparent that the official relations between Egypt and Sudan represent an essential pillar in reaching a consensual dialogue.
The Egyptian concern towards the severely polarized status in Sudan found realistic justifications from broad sectors in Sudan based on the specificity of the relationship and the flavor of he Egyptian contribution in finding a way out for the Sudanese crisis.
Egypt supported the Framework Agreement but at the same time urges for opening the doors wide for the entrance of any political bodies aiming at shaping a new stage of stability in Sudan.
Egypt also recognizes the security shocks in the Sudanese arena and the unprecedented foreign intervention, a matter that requires taking the necessary measures to avoid fragmentation amid the Sudanese political parties.
The Egyptian initiative represents a giant step to its sisterly country Sudan to avoid the disaster that may occur.
