The Citizen Newspaper Visits India Embassy

Within its efforts to communicate with the foreign mission, diplomats, NGOs and

Human rights Organizations in the country, a delegation from the Citizen Newspaper visited the Embassy of the Republic of in Khartoum today,  Monday 15th January, 2023, composed of Executive Secretary Ms Alaa Babkir and Reporter Mr Idress Hamza.

They were warmly welcomed by H.E Ambassador B. S Mubarak and the Second Secretary of the Embassy Mr Anil Kuamar.

Ambassador said that he is very optimistic Sudan will overcome these challenges

He added that Sudan has many potential and Human resources, with India collaboration Sudan can achieve especially

in agriculture and India looking forward to making it on the ground.

He confirmed that under India’s G-20 Presidency not only Sudan was involved,  but the whole South-South Countries,  as India’s lego for leadership is ”  One Earth -One Family – One Future “.

He added that the most recent Sudan Ministery of Finance and Economic Planning,  12th to 13th January attend the virtual conference,  and upcoming many programs and Ministerial meetings will be held.

On Healthcare, He highlighted on recent Liver transplant surgery conducted at ” Alia Specialised Hospital ” and went successfully under an Indian medical staff affiliated with the Indian Manipal Hospital based in Delhi.

Operation  also conducted by Indian Doctor with Sudanese assistant Doctors .

Last year many Indians Doctors and Hospitals visited Sudan for two days Workshop and exchanged MoU with Sudan’s Ministry of Health.

He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Sudanese government and its people, on kindly hospitality and for welcoming him last February 2022.
