Spray plane crashes in Al-Gadaref, its captain dies

A spray aircraft went down yesterday at Al-Rahad Locality in Al-Gadaref State that led to death of its South African pilot.

Director of AL-Gadaref State Police, Maj. Gen. (police) Modathir Hassabal Rasoul said the plane was brought from South Africa for the purpose of fighting pests in the African Agricultural Company’ schemes at Umm Karaa area of Al-Rahad locality, but during the experiments, he explained, the plane hit an agricultural machinery, that led to its crash and death of the captain on the spot and that the police forces rushed to the site of the accident and the necessary measures were taken.
