Secretary General of Tourism and Investment Supreme Council in Red Sea State Visits River Nile Pavelion in the IFK

Chief of the Tourism and Investment Supreme Council in Red Sea State, Ms. Samya O’Sheik stated that River Nile State is the cradle of civilizations, especially Bajrawiya area, adding that several tourists in Port Sudan are intending to visit the Pyramids City in Bajrawiya. This came during her visit to her meeting with the Governor of River Nile State. She added that the visit aims at promoting the tourism between Red Sea and River Nile States including dispatching tourists from Port Sudan through highways or railways, considering that tourism represent an important economic source in the Red Sea State.
For his part, the Governor of the River Nile State after the meeting that his State welcomes all foreign companies to invest in tourism in River Nile State as all the facilities are available, pointing out that Um-Altoyour Nature Reserve which lies at the west bank of River Nile State is one of the most beautiful nature reserve in the world.
