Circles: National Anti-Drug Campaign

First lieutenant Abdel al-Fattah AL Burhan, president of Sovereignty Transitional Council, and Commander -in-Chief of the Armed forces, General Abdel Fattah -AL-Burhan chaired yesterday, at the General Command a meeting that included Attorney General, the chairperson of the national campaign for combatting drugs, DR. Aljizouly Daffalla, ministers of justice, Interior, Higher Education and Governor of Khartoum state besides leadership of security organs.
His Excellency Noted aim of the meeting of the meeting was to lead a national campaign to combat drugs abuse and circulation ,which has become imminent threat to the future of young people ,and pointed out that international organizations had provided financial support to some youth organizations in order to support transition issues, but these supports were used to promote drug abuse among youth ,which requires that the state lead in all its sectors real and great action that curbs this dangerous phenomenon and brings tangible results.
The president of sovereignty Transitional Council , .al-Burhan, formed a high-level committee from ministers and relevant authorities to carry out the campaign.
In his speech on the occasion of Independence Day, AL-Burhan referred to the dangers of drugs. which targets youth and aims to devastate the state. Drugs, has spread in the last four years among the youth and even young women in a frightening manner, threating security and social peace.
Recently. many types of drugs have spread, the most prominent which is narcotic is ice crystal, and other the types of drugs which are so dangers, widely spread among young people. These drugs have destroyed a lot of people in the Sudanese community. nowadays.
Fighting drugs requires strenuous efforts and requires also the cooperation of the families with the authorities that doing the task of fighting drugs and those who finance and working in promotion of drugs among the society.
Let all cooperate together to fight against drugs, and win this battle for the sake of our country and of our society and people, that’s because drugs scourge of the age.
