Hate Speech Conference Steps Towards Right Direction

The International University of Africa (IUA)
has Hosted a 5-day Crucial Conference on Hate Speech, Where attend by various Ministers, Diplomats, Sudanese Civil society groups, researchers and Tribal Leaders. which becomes pending in Sudanese daily life and was exacerbated by the influence and revelations of Social media recently, It is high time to address such phenomena. According to “The UN “Hate Speech is defined as refers to offensive discourse targeting a group or an individual based on inherent characteristics ( race, religion, or gender ). Sudan Constitution

should criminalize the Hate Speech act and implement it on the ground.
It’s moments that Whole Sudanese should take responsibility for fighting it
Sudan Should take the Indian modals on fighting hate speech and living peacefully.
India this year has overpassed the record and become the world’s largest population with 1.40 billion, more than Africa’s Continent populations, with six religions practised ( Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Jainism, Sikhism ) exist there.
Although India came out and impose very restrictive measures on hate speech and criminalized it by all means.
In Rwanda, hate speech was led to violence and killings in the late 1994s, however now if you asked anyone What

they know about Rwanda, might respond is the best African Country in all aspects, without mentioning its dark area of it.
In Conclusion, the Sudanese government should send some tribal leaders, administrators and civil society activists to learn from the past experiences of Rwanda and India, to reflect on the Sudanese Ccommunities and stop it before destroying Sudanese Society and the Country at large.
