Director of Oil Facilities Securing Confirms his Administration’s Readiness to Secure the National Economy

Major General Omar Muhammad Ibrahim Hammouda, Director of the General Administration for Securing Oil Facilities, confirmed his administration’s readiness to protect the national economy by securing oil sectors and facilities in production areas to contribute to the state treasury and the advancement of the national economy.
Major General Omar Hammouda said, when addressing the Seismic Survey and Exploration securing Mission (Seismic), leaving to the region of Heglig in the state of West Kordofan.
He added that the area covered by the seismic survey is (342) kilometers and will last for four months with the participation of other regular forces, and that the mission represents an extension of the administration’s plans to secure the vital and strategic sites for oil in the various sectors and its responsibility towards the workers, machinaries and infrastructure of the oil facilities, advicing the forces to adhere to securing professional controls
The police stated that the Ministry of Energy and Oil used to carry out seismic surveys in oil production areas in coordination with the Oil Facilities securing Department, with four divisions working as protection for vehicles, workers, employees and headquarters to increase exploration, which would result in an increase in productivity.
It is noteworthy that securing the operations of sesmic survey is carried out by the administration of oil security periodically since the start of oil extraction operations, and it represents one of the oil exploration techniques.
