Daglo and Al-Hadi Idris conclude Visit to West Darfur

The Vice – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, the member of the council, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris, and the accompanying delegation have concluded their visits to South, Central and West Darfur States where following the events happened lately in South and Central Darfur States.
The visits were aimed to address the problems and to take the necessary measures to prevent their reoccurrence.
During his visit to West Darfur State, the Vice – President of the Sovereignty Council chaired a meeting of the state’s security committee, at which he heard a detailed briefing on the security situation in the state, which confirmed stability of the security situation in West Darfur.
On his part, the Deputy Wali of West Darfur State, Tigani Al-Taher Karshom, said in a statement to SUNA that the visit of the Vice – President of the Sovereignty Council to the state came at the end of his tour to the states of South and Central Darfur to stand on the events and to put the necessary measures for the situation, referring in this regard to convocation of a joint meeting to discusses the security and humanitarian situation in West Darfur state.
Karshom has stressed his government keenness to preserve the stability in the state, pointing to the discussion about the means to provide the necessary services to citizens, in addition to completing the specialized hospital and to prevent the land slide and erosion in Wadi Kaja.
He affirmed the commitment of the Vice – President of the Sovereignty Council to support the development projects in the state.
