Chairman of the Investment and Community Partnerships Council visits the Citizen’s Headquarter

On its continuous efforts to deliver credible news and completed investigative reports on important matters in Sudan, the staff of the Citizen Credible Outlet had an important visit by the Chairman of the Investment and Community Partnerships Council, Dr. Mosab Birair, who is also the Chairman of Board of Trustees at Roaa Media Center. Dr. Mosab congratulated the Citizen for its strong opening, as the online work is considered one of the very important ways to deliver useful and credible news to the world. He also wished best wishes to all of Citizen’s workers.
The visit took place on Wednesday January 17th at the Citizen’s Headquarter, where both parties shared knowledge about the current rising matter in Sudan, the increased spread use of Drugs among youth and specially university students. The Citizen executive team is preparing a detailed investigative report on Drugs, and Dr. Mosab assured his support to this material and promised to provide us with articles and papers of his own, as he has great knowledge of drug abuse in Sudan and at many aspects. He will also include many doctors who used to supervise real cases of drug addicts, and who works at rehabilitation center in Khartoum.
The visit was productive as Dr. Mosab and the Citizen agreed to have future joint work to reflect the seriousness of Drug Abuse in Sudan, how victims are targeting, and how treatment can be the best choice for young addicts.
