Arab Week to Raise Awareness of Dangers of Extremism and Terrorism Kicks-off

The Arab countries celebrate from the fourth to the tenth of January, the Arab Week to raise awareness of the dangers of extremism and terrorism through a number of media outlets and by designing proactive and awareness programs to encounter terrorism and extremism that targets Arab societies and represents a direct threat to security and peace.
The initiative comes in order to unify the efforts exerted in raising awareness in order to raise the efficiency of societies through a unified Arab strategy to confront the threat of extremism and terrorism, and to develop plans and programs to intensify educational activities and programs to address the threat of terrorism and extremism for the sake of an Arab society that is aware of the phenomena of extremism and terrorism, which represent a flagrant threat to security and safety and its consequences is a total destruction and looting of rights and freedoms.
