Al-Burhan: We will not allow recurrence of tribal violence incidents in Blue Nile

The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan has affirmed that they would not allow recurrence of incidents of tribal violence in Blue Nile Region.

The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief said during addressing the conclusion of the 67th Annual Armed Forces Shooting Sport Festival that Sudan would not allow any party to dictate its guardianship on it, stressing that Sudan acts on its own will.

He pointed out that the Armed Forces support all steps leading to democratic transition and that the army would be under a civilian leadership when reasonable circumstances are achieved.

He stressed that the Sudanese Army is professional regular army and it commits to international laws.
