Al-Burhan affirms guarding and protecting the Framework Agreement by weapon

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Gen. Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan has given directive to deal decisively with everyone works to destabilize the Blue Nile Region, affirming that there is would be no reluctance in protecting of the region and that his government would safeguard and protect the Framework Agreement by weapon.

This came while the TSC President was addressing the signing ceremony of the Framework Agreement between components of the Blue Nile Region in Al-Damazin yesterday.

Al-Burhan said the Framework Agreement was beginning of the way which needs hard work and concerted efforts of the all, saying his participation in the signing ceremony came at demand of people of the Blue Nile , disclosing that his government will continue work until a comprehensive deal is reached .

He noted that the military committee would continue work until a final agreement is signed.

Al-Burhan stated that Juba Peace Agreement would return with development benefits for the Blue Nile Region, referring to the Blue Nile’s tremendous resources which, he explained, could attract investors

It is to be noted that the TSC President and the Armed Forces Chief of Staff were honored during the signing ceremony.
