Abdel Nabi discusses ways to develop the livestock sector in Al-Tina locality in North Darfur

The Federal Minister of Animal Rersources , Hafez Ibrahim Abdel Nabi, pledged to provide veterinary services to pastoral communities as the genuine partner in developing the livestock sector.

, Sultan Muhammad Hassan Barqo, Sultan of Dar Kabkaba in Al-Tina locality in North Darfur state, affirming his support for the pastoral communitie to preserve and patch the social fabric and spread the culture of peace among societies, and he praised the growing role played by the native administrations in the social fabric, stability and peace, which contributes to the development of sector. He said that the veterinary convoys run by the ministry to the different states of Sudan are considered one of the duties of the ministry and have a special feature to vaccinate the national herd from epidemic and cross-border diseases. Stressing his ministry’s technical and logistical support for all livestock projects in the region.
Abdel Nabi revealed the establishment of a veterinary hospital and eugenics center to contribute to the upgrading of the livestock sector.
For his part, Sultan Muhammad Hassan Barqou Sultan Dar Kabakba praised the effective role played by the ministry in running veterinary convoys and supporting and developing the animal resources sector.
He demanded establishment of a veterinary hospital and eugenics center for the breeds that produce meat and dairy in addition to demanding the Ministry to carry out awareness campaign for the breeders to increase productivity and added value
