Track Party expresses desire to join framework agreement

Khartoum The Secretary General of Al-Masar (Track) Party revealed the party’s desire to join the framework agreement and addressed Mr. Volker Perthes, head of the United Nations Integrated Mission to Support the Sudan’s Transitional Period (UITAMS).
He noted that the party wants to join the ongoing deliberations to reach a final agreement, and that they addressed Volckertook in December 22, asserted role of Volcker as head of the tripartite mechanism and a facilitator of dialogue between civil and military political forces to establish democratic civil rule by achieving broad national consensus in this critical transitional period.
He revealed introducing a copy of the request to join the Framework Agreement to the Sovereignity Council as the head of state and commander-in-chief of the armed forces and a partner and founding party for the dialogue.
He pointed to their previously submitted a written request on December 5, 2022, to the secretariat of the Executive Office of the Democratic Transition Forces to sign the political declaration in support of a verbal request during a visit by a delegation from the party leadership to the National Umma Party House on November 27, 2022, and another visit in the same context to the House of the People’s Congress Party on November 29, 2022.
He added that the two parties expressed welcoming to Al-Masar (Track) Party joining to the political declaration of the forces of democratic transition, indicating the party waitfor a response from the concerned parties facilitating the dialogue, pointing the Framework Agreement as open to all political forces, on top of are the forces of the revolution, and does not exclude any active party.
