TDT  Minister Receives The Citizen Newspaper Delegation

Within The Citizen Newspaper endeavors to communicate with the important sectors in the country, a delegation from the editorial board of the paper visited His Excellency the Minister of Telecommunication and Digital Transformation, Dr. Adil Hassan Mohamed Hussein,  in his office today, Thursday 22nd, December 2022 who and his aides Dr. Jamal Amin and Dr. Mohamed Mohamad,  warmly welcomed the visiting delegation represented by Dr. Nasr Addeen Shulgami , Mr. Al-Rashid Mutasim, and Mr. Muawad Mustafa Rashid.

Being an introductory visit, the visiting delegation briefed the TDT officials on the resumption of the publication of The Citizen Newspaper and its objectives in providing a unique media service besides shedding light on  the activities of all the important institutions in the country.

For his part H.E. the Minister and his aides underscored the role of media in reflecting the realities to the targeted groups especially the role of the TDT  efforts in developing macro-economy and restructuring the governmental institutions through digital transformation system in order to build the digital state, hence contributing in revival of the Sudanese economy.

The two parties agreed to kick-off cooperation era as the TDT  Ministry will provide the paper with updated news and documentaries for the benefit of the targeted readers.

The Citizen expressed desire to conduct a brief interview with the Minister who accepted the idea in principle to be coordinated in the near future.
