Editorial: May our Xmas Eve Be Blissful and Bright

It is only one day separating us from celebrating Christmas

The Citizen editorial board seize this opportunity to extend our sincere congratulations to Christians all over the globe in general, the Sudanese people in particular, wishing all blissful and bright Christmas.
Congratulations are extended to the leaders of our beloved Sudan, hoping that they lead the country steadily towards development and prosperity to achieve the aspiration of the people. This could only be through dealing with the previous negative aspects, unification of the ranks by providing all possible concessions to come out with an agreed on national program.
Let us together transform the slogan (Peace Is a Reflection of Faith) into reality through coming to a common word so that we all live in peace and working in renouncing the causes of differences, conflicts and rivalries, besides abandoning tribal fanaticism and racial strife that threaten stability, development, unity and peace.
There is hope. We know that, come tomorrow, there will be sunshine. There will be life and laughter. Faith will be rewarded.
The beauty is that, on Christmas Eve, there is hope.
